Manmadhan Ambu is yet another deadly combination of superstar KamalHassan
and director KS Ravi kumar. The duo has always given some big hits to the

Urvasi in important roles. For the first time, Trisha is acting with Kamal's
film and Madhavan is also uniting with the veteran after their critically
acclaimed film Anbe Sivam in 2003.

Story:
The film has more than half of the scenes shot across Europe and a on a
cruise ship. Manmadhan Ambu tells the story of three individuals, Major
Mannar (Kamal Haasan), Ambujakshi (Trisha) and industrialist Madhan Gopal
(Madhavan). Actress Sangeetha essays the role of a divorcee woman Deepa, who
has two kids. She is a close friend of Ambujakshi. Oviya plays the cousin of
Madhan.

Madhan is a suspicious lover of Ambujakshi and this nature of his leads to
fights between them always. An irritated and suspicious Madhan assigns a
private detective Mannar to keep an eye on his girl, when she goes for a
vacation abroad. The detective takes up the job in one condition that Madhan
has to bear the medical expenses of his close friend Rajan (Ramesh Aravind),
who is suffering from cancer. At the same time, Deepa also goes for a
vacation with kids to Paris. The hilarious satiations start from here with
some interesting flashbacks. It shows the commando

life of Mannar and Madhan's accident.

Performance:
As expected Kamal Hassan steals the show throughout the film. Audience will
enjoy his rib tickling funny styles all the way. Trisha has done an amazing
job and Madhavan is excellent. Sangeetha, Ramesh Arvind, Urvashi and others
have done justice to their roles. Manush Nandan's cinematography is
mesmerizing and Devi Sri Prasad's music and background have perfectly
blended with the story. And finally, we should appreciate Ravikumar for his
tight screenplay and direction.
