People demand 'fast' relief as Anna's health depreciates.

On the 9th day of Anna Hazare's fast demanding a tough anti corruption law -the Jan Lokpal Bill, support continues to grow across the country and among non resident Indians overseas.
More than 2 lakh thronged the Ramlila ground despite harsh sun and a weekday. All through the afternoon people kept coming onto the ground and many sitting in groups outside the ground on vigil for Anna.
Medha Patkar addressed the gathering at spoke about the non committal attitude of political parties on the Jan Lokpal bil. She said they went to speak to the party offices of both major political parties.
Raghubeer Yadav of Peepli Live fame came to Ramlila ground to extend support to Anna and the movement, for a tough anti corruption law and the Jan Lokpal Bill. The crowd insisted he sing the hit song from his film Peepli Live "Mehngai Dayan Khai Jaat Hai" a comment on price rise and political corruption, and a hugely successful musical politcal satire.   • In Bhopal Coaching Institutes of the citycame together to rally in support of Anna ji's movement opposite Anand namkeen, MP Nagar Zone- II, Bhopal Contact: 9713212856 .

  • Goa saw an Art Attack. The top artists of Goa at came together at KTC bus stand in peaceful protest demanding the Jan Lokpal Bill. This was followed by a candle light vigil.
  • In Kolkata the National Alliance of People's Movement will hold a protest at Bow Bazaar on the24th of August. The demand is for a tough anti corruption law in the form of the Jan Lokpal Bill. TheGandhi Peace Foundation in Kolkata will protest demanding the Jan Lokpal Bill and supporting Anna and India Against Corruption on 25th August at Metro Channel in Kolkata.
